According to Realtor Magazine, the process of turning a prospect into a client doesn’t start at the first meeting. If you use effective marketing, it can start even before you meet your prospect. Take a look at these five ways that you can make your prospects see you as the only choice to go to for their real estate needs.

1. Be First Rather Than Better

  • No one wants to spend time looking for an agent as they would rather spend time looking for their dream home so when you are trying to improve your marketing efforts, focus on visibility and what you can do for the client.

2. Don’t Usurp Yourself As The Product

  • No one likes to be lost in a big corporation, they like to know the person that is helping them achieve their dream of homeownership. Therefore, make sure to put your photo on all marketing material as people will want to work with you because of what you do and who you are first.

3. Show The Difference You Make

  • Don’t be conceited and say how you are better than the competition. It will be more effective if you show them why you are different and what you can do for them.

4. Don’t Depend On Any One Method

  • Not everyone responds well to the same method, therefore, you want to try different methods such as traditional written material, telemarketing, in person contact, online and other forms. If you combine methods, you will receive the best results. Many factors such as time, type of audience, etc so don’t get discouraged if a method isn’t showing results right away.

5. Be Consistent But Not Obnoxious

  • You want to stay top of mind with your prospects and client so they don’t forget about you. Remember to follow up not so often that it becomes obnoxious.
